Come see two of arena football’s most celebrated teams compete while raising money for addiction awareness and treatment at the upcoming Rock vs. Jocks event. Local favorites the Philadelphia Soul (owned in part by NFL alumni Dick Vermeil, Ron Jaworski, Marques Colston and Jahri Evans) will take on legendary rocker Gene Simmons’ Los Angeles Kiss in a world-class display of athleticism on June 11 at Trenton’s Sun National Bank Center. Recovery Unplugged will be on hand to enjoy the game while working to raise funds and awareness for our partner organization, Face the Music Foundation. Kickoff for the event will be at 3:00pm and doors will open at 2:00pm.
Heading to Bonnaroo this year? Well even if you weren’t before, you may be now. Face the Music Foundation and Recovery Unplugged have partnered with Canadian electronic music duo Zeds Dead to offer two lucky fans a meet-and-greet prior to their performance at the famed Tennessee music festival. This is a unique opportunity for Zeds Dead fans, or fans of electronic music in general, to meet and talk to one of the most talented and promising acts in the genre. Winners will have the opportunity to take a photo with the group and have them sign a small item of their choice. Zeds Dead will be performing after midnight on June 10th.
Today we are happy to announce that Charitybuzz has an auction to support our favorite organization The Face the Music Foundation. AIG has graciously donated a package to Meet Carly Rae Jepsen with 4 Tickets to her Orlando Show on February 15 to help funding The Face the Music Foundation.
All people deserve the opportunity to receive drug rehabilitation treatment and recover from the disease of addiction. Face The Music Foundation was founded in August 2014 to help cultivate the resources to those who otherwise could not be able to receive treatment for substance abuse. They are an alliance (providers including inpatient detoxes, residential treatment centers, outpatient treatment centers, individualized therapists and sober living residences) that is committed to helping those suffering from substance use disorders find hope through the generosity of donations and scholarships.
